Westminster International Ltd has supported the UK’s popular prime time TV programme, The Gadget Show, shown live on Channel 5 TV and which was held at the national Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, UK.
Westminster provided X-Ray Scanning Equipment to be used as a prop on the main stage to improve the realism of the show’s Super Theatre. The scanner was used to scan the contents of traveller’s bags with the audience having to guess the item from an X-Ray image presented on the screens. The audience of around 80,000 were asked to identify items such as mobile phones and game console controllers on the scanner to win a prize. A short video clip may be seen here
A spokesman for the organisers commented:
