Unprecedented Interest for Longmoor Close Protection Training 2010

Longmoor Security announces that it has received unprecedented interest for its Close Protection training courses in 2010. Enquiries for the Longmoor CP training course are running at an all time high with the January 2010 course so oversubscribed that the Company is now running two additional courses.

Longmoor Security, the Close Protection (CP) and Risk Assessment division of the Westminster Group, announces that it has received unprecedented interest for its Close Protection training courses in 2010.

Enquiries for the Longmoor CP training course are running at an all time high with the January 2010 course already so oversubscribed that the Company is now running two additional courses.

The market in personal protection has grown significantly with the much publicised increase in kidnap, hostage taking, ransom demand and targeted theft of wealthy and high profile individuals. Ex-military and ex-police recognise the enhanced career options available to them having completed the Longmoor Security Industry Authority (SIA) accredited course.

Commenting on the record training numbers Chris Brice, Longmoor’s MD (Training), said:

"Longmoor’s excellent reputation in the specialist security training industry has pushed the Q1 Close Protection course delegate numbers to near full capacity with Q1 targets being met in January alone.

"The Longmoor CP courses are Security Industry Authority (SIA) Licensed and externally validated by Buckingham New University so recognise a high level of achievement from the delegates. Despite the demands of the course, Longmoor have achieved 100% pass rate of those delegates who take the exam.

"We have introduced a new payment plan which has proved very popular and enabled aspiring Close Protection operatives to enrol in the course earlier than would otherwise have been possible. Our enquiry levels remain high and the prospects for 2010 remain strong".
