Westminster Group recently worked with Essex Police to trial and identify a suitable, Mass Weapon Detection solution.
Following a series of trials, Westminster Group has successfully commissioned a Mass Weapons Detection Solution to Essex Police.
The rapidly deployable CEIA OPENGATE can detect a series of dangerous items, which can be used to cause mass casualties.
Commenting on the successful trial, Business Development Manager, Lorraine Hellend said:
“Westminster Group (WG)regularly supplies specialist security equipment to multiple police forces across the country. WG’s close working relationship with manufacturers enables them to identify the correct solution for clients.”
“Westminster works closely with CEIA and has recently been made a premium partner. This allows us to offer products at competitive rates, whilst still adding value through our expertise and specialist services. Mass Screening Solutions will form a vital role within the upcoming protect duty legislation and Westminster are well placed to offer guidance, assistance and assurance to those organisations it will effect”.
Trials took place earlier this year, with a permanent placing of CEIA OPENGATE taking effect in the summer. Essex Police issued a press release: Southend: New knife detector helps to keep the city safe
